Tapered upper arch shape
This patient had a tapered upper arch shape making her smile narrow. She also had too much overjet. After 23 months of braces, note how you can see many more teeth, making for a much more attractive smile!
Misaligned teeth, 21 months of treatment
This 14-year old patient came in with misaligned teeth. Dr. Henry used braces for 21 months to straighten and align the teeth. He smiles all the time now!
Crowding and Bad Bite
This 9 year old has crowding and a very bad bite - the upper teeth are biting inside of the lower teeth in front. Dr. Henry recommended Phase I treatment using an expander followed by limited braces on both rows. Total treatment time took only 12 months and look at the difference!

This patient had a lower tooth biting outside of the upper teeth - a dangerous position - note the recession on the lower tooth. After only 4 months of limited upper braces, all of the teeth are in much better positions! This is a good example of the benefits of Phase I treatment.
